The processing and recycling of municipal solid waste (MSW) aims at the recovery of valuable and essential raw materials. FORREC has been developing special recycling facilities for this type of waste for many years.

The offered technologies are designed to ensure the separation and recovery of high-quality recyclable materials suitable for market needs from municipal and industrial waste. The non-recyclable dry fractions, on the other hand, are converted into an alternative fuel called Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF).
